Satisfied Sleepers
Simply superb! We came with an idea, a suitable solution was found in a flash, and our idea was fully implemented. Such customer service is a rarity these days. We are very satisfied with the value for money and positively surprised by the incredibly fast production. The only thing we regret is not having a Fanello mattress made for our last camper.
Highly recommended company! Mr. Meili provided excellent advice when we bought the mattress for the alcove of our motorhome, and we were able to take two mattress types home for a week to test them. The ordered mattress (210x160cm) was manufactured within a week - great service!
The service and advice are excellent. My client is very satisfied with the new mattresses and covers. I will gladly order from you again. Thank you.

Yes, all combinations can be tested in our showroom. We are also happy to provide these combinations for testing at home. Especially for custom-made products and sleeping pads for beds at home, we recommend test nights instead of test minutes.
Standard products, such as ClickMat or RoofTop, can only be tested in our showroom, but not overnight.
As long as you mean the mattress – Yes! We are happy to donate reusable mattresses to aid projects such as "Humanosh – Help for Ukraine". All others are recycled in cooperation with the Mattress Alliance.
Yes, we always sew in a zipper. The covers are washable at 30°
This can vary seasonally. However, production time is usually never more than 2 weeks. For special upholstery fabrics or externally manufactured fitted sheets and toppers, delivery time can sometimes be 4 – 6 weeks.
No, this is only possible in the event of a qualitative defect or faulty production. A mattress is a hygiene product that is no longer new after use. We therefore recommend our test sleep offer for custom-made products. You are welcome to visit our showroom for standard products.
That would be good, right? Therefore: YES! If not: Please contact us, then there must be an error. We will do our best to find it.
We are not marketing experts, but our logo is always on the top. If you have a mattress with a uniform cover (top and bottom identical), the interior will tell you what's right:
1. Do not lie on the slatted side, it's too firm (applies to MyLit products)
2. The lightest layer is always on top, unless you have chosen a very special configuration.
Yes, of course. The standard heights for leisure beds are 5 / 7.5 / 10 / 12.5 / 15 / 18 / 20 cm. You can tell us what works best for you.
In Switzerland
fanello beds are still produced exclusively in Fahrwangen, Aargau, on Lake Hallwil. Most of the materials are also sourced from Switzerland.
The choice is yours
Latex is more flexible than any foam and has better point elasticity. However, we have included Evopore polyurethane foam in our product range because it is also very suitable for beds and mattresses in vehicles, as it is approx. one third lighter than natural latex. In addition, with Evopore, we have found a foam that comes very close to latex in terms of its properties.
Based on our experience, latex works better in combination with a flexible base. So, where there is no support element or soft seating surface, the recommendation tends to be towards Evopore foam.
Just because everyone is talking about it doesn't mean it's good...
After the foaming process, cold foam has approx. 90% closed pores (cells). Furthermore, unlike standard foam, it cannot tolerate high humidity or high temperatures, unless complex and expensive formulations are used.
Since fanello develops bed systems for travel, such a foam would not be suitable for our ideas. After all, you never know where your journey will take you. Since you often lie quite close to the foam, it is very important that it is breathable. Evopor, as well as latex, absorbs moisture and releases it again. With the polyurethane foam called Evopor, we have a very breathable and temperature-independent alternative to cold foam, which we will continue to use in the future.
The temperature should not impair sleeping comfort.
Various testers have confirmed: At temperatures below approximately 16° Celsius, a visco mattress becomes as hard as a board, and it takes a very long time for body heat to bring the foam to the desired adjustment. For this reason, we recommend not using visco foam as an addition to the mattress in outdoor areas, as this often does not produce the desired effect and can even worsen comfort. We use temperature-independent materials such as latex and Evopore.
Different property, different name
A conventional slatted frame usually only serves as under-ventilation. Our support element clearly takes on more responsibility.
The fanello bases were primarily developed for additional ergonomics and to increase sleeping comfort. With its longitudinal latex strips, a fanello slatted frame thus guarantees perfect support and adapts to the contours of the body.
However, we won't be mad at you if you accidentally call our support elements slatted frames..
Our customer support is available Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:45 AM and 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
